July 11th 2006 Bud Massengale hypes the Madebig site

Introduced by wife Judy, Presidential Leader Bud Massengale hypes the beta program for Madebig.com, in the summer of 2006.

Judy describes how the site took “8 years to put together” (which explains why it was so dated and not at all revolutionary).

She also mistakenly describes it as something the “Internet has never seen before” (which of course it had – and better).

Bud also mistakenly describes the site as being a “huge player on the Internet”(which it never was or can be with such poor organization, inadequate infrastructure and no publicity).

Bud does mention a foundation though which actually DID come to pass, three years later with Richi’s “Grant Wishes Foundation” (although its intentions are less than clear as it is registered as a business and not a non-profit).
