September 28th, 2009 Gerald Parks TMII Sales Pitch
Since Terry Lussier disappeared from the TMII pantheon, Gerald Parks of the Bay area, California, appears to be the new “pitch man”.
Gerald talks about the lastest incarnation of MadeBig – namely the “Empowerment Program”.
Parks insists that TMII are “dedicated to helping make a difference in peoples’ lives” and other empty platitudes.
“This compensation plan will knock your socks off!” insists the excited Gerald.
He explains the new compensation plan a little – supposedly the agent buys in for $39, then encourages two others to buy in for $39 each.
Then, when any five sales are made, this completes an ‘action cycle’ and a credit of $36 goes to the original agent.
Gerald suggests that the five sales can occur anywhere in the pyramid (or chain as it is arranged this go around). However, even an Economics 101 student would spot a glaring error in this business model so it does not pass the smell test and remains an unsustainable pyramid scheme.
As you can hear from the automated system, it reports no more than three callers for the duration of the call. Consider that one was Parks himself, discard the non-interested party recording the pitch and Parks was left pitching to an audience of one.
