MadeBig’s Empowerment Program

In TMII’s Wednesday Night Live Call tonight, Richi Roane made an interesting statement regarding the first e-book/audio book which is part of the Madebig Empowerment Program downloads.

With a complete lack of originality, TMII/MadeBig are using Napoleon Hill’s “Think And Grow Rich”, which was first published in 1937 (and not 1928, as quoted by Gerald Parks on the call.)

"Think and Grow Rich"

For $39 a month, you too can listen to an “expert” (who is Gerald and he gets this title because he once attended a Bob Proctor seminar on the book and paid several hundred dollars for the experience) explain the book and lessons within.

Interestingly, no mention was made of this book being in the public domain and therefore free for anyone to publish and use, without any need to pay royalties.

The upshot of this is that anyone with a search engine can find the same resources readily available for free, on the Internet. You could even buy the book for $8 or less on Amazon and dispense with Gerald’s brand of “expertise”.

Unfortunately, the prime targets for this latest iteration of MadeBig are of course friends and family of the cult members and Richi makes certain to remind listeners of this. Hopefully most will recognize the name behind it and recall getting burned before.

Other aspects of Richi’s call included word that the TMII debit cards are now shipping out – this is the method for crediting commissions that TMII have recently hit upon for novelty factor.

No more talk of ‘blue checks’ then? (Pity!)

TMII’s MyOffice is going down for a few days and is supposedly back up over the weekend, to reflect the new changes. One assumes Richi has some actual software experts working on this because if the problems with the games site are any indication, it may not go as smoothly as he hopes.

Gerald Parks seemed a little surprised that Richi had not read “Think and Grow Rich” until the Empowerment Program but my surprise was more that Richi reads at all and also where Gerald has been for the past ten years because Richi has not demonstrated any of the skills covered in this seventy year old book, so clearly hadn’t read it before.

Catch Gerald’s call Thursday (22nd) night at 7 pm Pacific as he hopes to have cult members calling in excitedly, to talk about their cards arriving which adds to the mirage of money going out to agents.

As with the real mirages, the money is very likely to disappear or dry up in a short space of time – especially if people realize they can get the same course for far less money or free!

Originality never was TMII’s strong point.

I’ll sure try to listen in to Gerry’s call. That way he can say he has a nationwide audience. LOL

Its interesting that he mutes the past calls so that no questions can be asked.

Yet another way to part folks from their money. I just looked on several online book search sites and you can get the e-book for .99 to $8.00 or the audio book starting at under $10.00.

Also, you have to be a licenced Bob Proctor Consulatant to teach Bob’s material on the Think and Grow Rich book. I highly doubt Gerald has invested in that certification ~ or why would he be slumming with MadeBig?

If he is a certified life consultant with Bob Propctor, what give him the authority to coach others through the book other than the notes he took at the seminar he attened? Also is part of the overpriced cost of the book to pay for Gerald’s coaching? I bet Bob Proctor would be interested in this…..

I think you should get your facts right.. The call was muted to reduce the noise in the back round. I actually was on that call and found it instructive. Oh and By the way you can ask questions if you want. I was one of the few who actually asked a question and got an answer. It is as simple as listening to the instructions on how to get your question or in this case hand up so the host notices you have a question.

Interesting Brian, since the 3 calls I listened to (including the 1 I RECORDED) had me and Gerry (and 1 other person on 1 of the calls). No questions were asked and no instructions were given. I wonder Brian, if recording the call is getting the facts straight?

Would you like to listen to the recording????? Do you have proof to back up your facts?….or are you doing the typical “Langdon” shuffle with the facts?

Welcome Brian.

I have to concur with Jeff and say that I’ve not heard any questions “from the floor” when these nightly calls from Gerald have occurred. As you point out Brian, often these conference calls are muted to reduce background noise but it is rare that they are opened up UNLESS to provide for another TMII salesman to make a pitch or add something else.

Jeff’s point is no doubt to echo what has been apparent for some time – that intelligent questions and delving in the background are not encouraged by TMII leadership. Unfortunately, it is unrealistic to expect people to hand over money for an investment “opportunity” and not ask any pertinent questions regarding performance, credentials, past history and statistical evidence to back it up.

What was your question Brian? And how were you able to ask it and have it answered in Gerald’s call?

Another question Brian………if there is only 1 possibly 2 people on the call with Gerry…..then what background noise are you speaking of????

Is Gerry conducting calls from the middle parking lot?

This site is getting tons of attention now.

If you Google “MadeBig Empowerment”, the top 2 returns point to MadeSmall.net.

How great is that???? Congratulations!!!
