This section of the website is for examples of how agents are treated and generally fare with TMII.
It will demonstrate how agents are encouraged to invest in so-called “opportunities of a lifetime” but the moment they begin to question the organization or responsibly begin gathering information, they are either frozen out, ignored, hounded or kicked out altogether.
We’re fortunate to start with an agent who was recruited in mid-2008, Mike Johnston of Oregon, who has kindly agreed to share his experiences.
Mike filed a complaint with TMII shortly after attending a mis-advertised TMII seminar and after receiving unfulfilled promises from Richi Roane and TMII Business Support, he filed complaints with the Utah Better Business Bureau and the Oregon Department of Justice.
Mike has agreed to share his Better Business Bureau case with us later, as it is still pending.
A full account of the e-mail exchange between Mike and Richi Roane/TMII Business Support can be found at the Mike Johnston Complaint E-mail Log.
Mike also agreed to an interview for this site, specifically discussing the TMII Social Entrepreneur Boot Camp he and his wife attended in Salt Lake City, in February of 2009.
Mike’s interview can be found at the Mike Johnston Interview page.
You can also find Mike’s complaint with TMII at Rip Off Report.
